New song obsession! And it's quite fitting for the blog (well, not exactly, but with the café theme and all)! It's Couleur Café by Serge Gainsbourg. It was actually my second year French professor that introduced me to him. We were studying the significance of La Marseillaise (the 1792 original). Then she showed us the modern and controversial version, Aux Armes Et Caetera, by Serge Gainsbourg, a French artist that came up with this version in 1979, much to the shock of the world. Anywhom - back to Couleur Café. I'm obsessed with anything that has a brazilian rhythm and this song's pretty cool. Here's the video.
