The sunrise in Paris is like no other city. The golden light accentuates monuments and reflects off of store windows and streets in such a particular way. I went on a stroll through the sleepy streets of Paris on the first day of the year with my lovely mother! We woke up early and took the metro from the 18th arrondissement to Chatelet and enjoyed the sunshine as we walked down Rue de Rivoli.
